I would certainly trust the SDs. The only winning Democrats in the last couple of decades have been Bill Clinton and Al Gore, and Gore had so much DNC support that they actually allowed him to have the election stolen from him without a peep. Their political judgment is clearly impeccable.

For a woman to be called "sweetie" by a man is not the same as your being called "honey" by a woman. He dissed her. Still, if "typical white person" means nothing, but "white Americans, hard working Americans" means racism, anything can mean anything. It's OK for Obama to say "cracker" about a white person in his book, OK for the media to say "bitch" about Clinton. Just don't say anything negative about Obama because that is "practically like saying the n* word--why doesn't she just come out and use it?" Perhaps she didn't come out and use it, because unlike others who can refer to crackers and bitches she doesn't actually think calling people names is a good idea.

As for fantasy sports, there are some good articles on the subject by Don Levy. They address the question of masculinity (Levy is a fan of these games, BTW, not a critic).

It's OK, I am resigned to another Democratic defeat. I am glad people are embracing it with such enthusiasm, I just didn't expect it to be Democrats.
